In actuality, the Infinity proved itself and became our go to kite in our kiteboarding school for the lighter wind days! For 2012, Epic kites improved the upwind performance, gave the Infinity a little more power, and increase the load and pop capability. Don't worry, Epic kites, didn't lose the signature aspects of stability, fast turning, and super easy relaunch. A tall order, but Epic kites design and R&D team pulled off the seemingly impossible! You won't believe this kite until you try it. As soon as you launch you'll notice the power and stability in very light winds. As you ride, you will appreciate the turning speed and love that fact that you can cut upwind in 8 knots! Heck, pull the trigger and enjoy the floaty jumps or load and pop until the sun sets! The Renegade Infinity light wind kite is the newest addition to the RENEGADE kite line and is dedicated to riders looking to up their game in winds between 7 and 18 knots. Lighter kiteboarders(140 - 180 lbs) will appreciate sessions in the 7 to 11 knot range. In this range you'll no longer have to work the kite to keep it in the air. We developed the Renegade Infinity so that you will enjoy more sessions than ever before. For kiteboarders in the 180 - 220 lb range, you'll be rewarded by the consistent, strong pull and great low end to get you up and planing. But everyone will appreciate the snappy turning performance of this kite.
The Infinity light wind kite pulls like most 18 meter kites but flies with characteristics common to 12 or 13 meter kites. You can now have a kite that pulls well in very light winds, but responds like a smaller kite. For the first time, the best of both worlds exists!
Bridle deflectors on strut tips to keep the bridle from wrapping on the wingtip.
Strut zippers allow for easy access to the bladders.
TE Scuff pads to prevent wear and tear at the point where the kite receives excessive wear and tear. This also supports the joining seams to increase strength and to prevent sail flapping so the kite is more efficient in flight.
