This bridle system will always keep the kite arch in the same shape and ensure power transmission to be complete. The bridle does not absorb or lose force, which makes you get a real and direct response from your kite. In the Dual System, the central bridle keeps the leading edge in a constant perfect shape, and the lateral bridle gives direct power transmission while maintaining the best kite balance according to the kite s center of power. Inner Curved leading Edge (ICE)
The leading edge shape ensures minimal contact with water when the kite is on the water. It also guarantees a fast and easy re-launch. Just power-up and pull one of the leader lines a few centimeters and it will re-launch the kite. No more swimming needed! The StarKites 2011 NeX Control Bar is a concept based on simplicity and functionality. The NeX Bar is at its purest form, no gimmicks or gadgets. StarKites has grabbed the simplest and strongest safety system, depower strap, bar and chicken loop on the market and put them together with the international safety color code. The end result is a control bar that offers the highest safety standards without scaring away the core riders looking for a clean bar that can endure maximum beating. The NeX Bar is as great for pros as it is for beginners.
Features:Chicken Loop: the StarKites chicken loop design is a leader in the industry, the r&d was done by combining a group of 3 teams and they took into consideration all the latest developments achieved in the industry on chicken loops. StarKites came out with an ergonimic shape that fit perfectly in the hand for a quick, comfortable and strong hold to release the kite in a reliable use. The Chicken Loop has passed all the tests of strength, functionality, durability and reliability; it is complying with the AFNOR standard. The finger is set to the side to stay out of the way when practicing unhooked riding. Depower Strap: it is made of solid nylon straps, 1 strap for power and 1 strap for depower. It is color coded for instinctive knowledge of which strap to pull during action. So far the best system as per its simplicity of use and the easy angles to pull and lock compare to the ones located above the chicken loops. Bar: it is made of carbon with an aluminum center to prevent wearing from the center line. Lines: StarKites uses the best line manufacturer on the market. The line ends come with heavy duty pigtails with a plastic shrink wrap at the intersection between the line and the pigtail to prevent the normal wear and tear that usually occurs at that spot. 1. Auto-stabilisation of the kite when it is located at the edge of wind window in gusty winds.
2. Double De-power allowing the kite to flatten the center profile in addition to reducing the angle of attack when sheeting out.
In more technical terms, the ExA s Central Strut Curve Curve is inverted and linked to the canopy by a fabric wall. This feature prevents the kites stalling in gusty winds and also increases the effect of sheeting in and out. Kites with standard struts change the angle of attack when the rider sheets in or out.
