The term wakestyle comes from the wakeboard type style of high powered tricks at lower altitudes that combine board "pop" and a kite that will set deeper in the wind window (more downwind) for constant power.

The Switchblade kiteboarding kite is dubbed a "wakestyle" kiteboarding kite by Cabrinha. I think it is more accurately the best "all around" kiteboarding kite. The Switchblade kiteboarding kite offers as much as possible in one kite. A compromise to offer a mix of upwind drive & amazing pop and lift, but still maintaining a super stable design that is normally only associated with beginner kites.

Shox Custom kiteboard is an ultimate freeride board with soft to medium flex for comfortable rides. This kiteboard successfully brought CrazyFly’s board range to a new level and satisfied many riders looking for high quality freeride kite board. The 2011 Shox board is stunning and has a brand new custom wood core construction. only the highest quality, specially selected pieces of wood are used for Shox kiteboard cores. Shox Custom kiteboard grabs attention with its transparent wood look and with very elegant custom design. This design shows a unique view of the construction underneath the top layer. Finest selection CNC shaped tip to tip wood core, multi axial fiber glass, carbon fiber reinforcements between the legs and 3D ABS rails are a perfect combination for an ultimate freeride performance on water.
Crazy Fly has a state-of-the-art construction facility with advanced kite building machines to allow them to have an unlimited number of different construction layups. This allows Crazy Fly to tune flex, stiffness, and pop to the desired levels and Shox Custom kiteboards offer a very good balance between these elements.
For 2011, Crazy Fly increased the flex of the Shox Custom kiteboards to make it very comfortable for smooth freeride and to give it more than enough pop for a few tricks. This kiteboard provides easy carving and anyone can feel like a Pro in transition from heel to toe.
