2011 Epic Kites Now on Closeout Sale - Save hundreds on the Renegade 9, Screamer 12 & 10!


The 2011 Renegade 9m kiteboarding kite was improved to make it 12% faster with 10% less bar pressure and Epic Kites added reinforcements. The Renegade 6m kiteboarding kite was near perfect, but kiteboarders will now enjoy additional reinforcements and minor tweaks on the bridle for the 2011 version. The biggest change is with the Renegade 11m kiteboarding kite. Epic Kites made this kite more powerful with less bar pressure and faster than its predecessor. Epic Kites went back to the drawing board and started from scratch, they were able to make the 11m Renegade kite substantially more powerful and significantly faster with totally stability!

Renegade Kiteboarding Kite - I would classify this kite as a Freeride kite and a wave kite. The Renegade is the most user friendly and everyone feels quite comfortable with the kite immediately. It is extremely forgiving with lots of de-power ability. The water relaunching is very easy, we even anchored the kite in the water by the trim loop and let it stand on its wingtip unattended! The kite responds to your input with above average turning and would be best for general freeride kiting and wave riding.

Screamer Kiteboarding Kite - A Freestyle kite that packs a lot of punch. This kite is lightning fast and flies very far upwind. This makes it an incredible freestyle kite. Since the kite flies so far into the wind, it makes it easier to go upwind. Also turning the kite back for a jump creates a much higher jump as the kite is so far forward. Be prepared to jump higher than you are used to jumping! In short for stability and ease of use go with the Renegade. For performance jumping and a faster kite to take you upwind easier the Screamer is your kite.
