Bringing in a new brand at Kitty Hawk Kites Kiteboarding Resort is not a decision we take lightly. We have been carefully studying and trying out all the great kiteboarding kites and equipment. Hey, it is a tough job, but somebody has to do it! We know you trust our opinion and count us to give you solid advice. That is why we decided to expand our offering of the Ocean Rodeo brand to include their kites in 2010!

We have a 2010 Rise Venturi XPD in our Rental Center and is available for you to rent!

The 2010 Rise is the ultimate all around free ride kite. Perfect for beginner to Pro, the Rise delivers high performance over a huge wind range. 2010 refinements include larger leading edge panels at the wing tips resulting in increased projected area, and improved steering. Also new this year is our 6 strut construction designed to match the XPD panel lay out. Removal of the middle strut opens up the centre of the canopy and allows for better canopy definition and air flow through the vents. Planform Construction gives the full size range of 2010 Rise kites a similar turning feel and speed.

The Vented kite canopy and 6 strut construction allows air to flow cleanly through the vents if the kite is flown off the back lines, reducing the chance of stalling or back flying during powered and unhooked moves!
