Skywalker kiteboards are constructed with the following solutions to make the ultimate board.
The production of the combi e-glass fabric was developed especially for Skywalker. This fabric provides an ideal arrangement of the fibers in the laminate. The thickness of the decorative top sheet was designed at 0.4 mm and graphics sub laminated into the blend so even after months of abuse the boards still look fantastic.
The composite core is based on a custom version of PVC Airex C71. This creates a double T Bonding with the laminate. Skywalker's main goal was to create a much stronger board without raising its weight which they have achieved. Because the boards were considered light enough the remaining weight savings were used up in additional reinforcements in the area of the fins and the corner edges of the board, which are most sensitive points in terms of impact and stress damage.
All together the boards are bombproof, lightweight and the flex tip innovative design and construction provides an unsurpassed ride.
